Gabe and Courtney are the cutest couple who took me to the very spot where Gabe proposed just a few months prior! They braved the bitter cold to get the most gorgeous winter engagement photos that were complete with the beautiful freshly fallen snow.
Here is their adorable engagement story.......
Our story:
"We got engaged on Friday, September 28th, 2018! Gabe had purchased the ring and asked my dad for permission sometime in July.
That Friday I was finishing up working one of my 7 days in a row stretches so I was pretty tired. He texted me that morning and asked if I would go help him get his range finder in the woods (said he left it in his tree stand the night before). I said “sure, I’d love to”....even though I was exhausted lol. So that night after work we headed out to go look for the range finder behind his aunt and uncles house (Brian and Kathy Wieser). Little did I know Gabe and his cousin Adam had this master plan in place...
As we were walking back in the field I heard this buzzing above us. It was his cousin Adam's drone. I didn’t think anything if it as Adam likes to fly the drone around and check on the fields/ woods. But then it got closer and closer and closer...And as it got closer I could tell something was hanging from it. It finally got close enough that Gabe was able to grab the little black box hanging from it. He opened it and it was EMPTY. At this point I thought Adam and Gabe were playing a joke on me! But as I started to walk away Gabe pulled out another little black box from his pocket that wasn’t empty! He asked me to marry him and I of course said "YES" followed by some tears and laughs.
I had no idea and was in total shock for quite a while. We walked back to his aunt and uncles house where they had a bottle of champagne waiting for us! We celebrated and then drove to all his sibling's houses to tell them in person and drove to the cities to tell my family the next day! It was perfect and I’m so glad we got it all on video to watch over and over again!" ~Courtney
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." ~ 1Corinthians 13:4
